Why should we know God's Word? The Bible existed before it was even written and even existed before the beginning of the universe (John 1:1). God then inspired men to write down the truths of what had already existed in their own words. And many years later, we can now go to a local Christian bookstore and buy a book that was inspired by God and had existed before man was ever created. When we say that the Bible is the "Inspired Word of God", that means that what I hold in my hand tonight came straight from the throne of God to help me find truth and eternal life. In 2 Timothy 3:15-17 it says: All scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. It is God's way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do. Everything we face, everything choice we have to make can be based on what God would lead us to do, if and only if we know His unchanging and forever word. Every day this page will be updated with a different verse from the Bible. Take time to read what God's Word says. This is an easy way to try and start memorizing the Word of God.
